Fuzzy Thoughts From A Drug Head

Firstly, if you didn’t catch my interview on The Guardian Music website, you can find it here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/musicblog/2012/may/28/blog-jam-arty-assassin

As you can imagine, that has resulted in far more visitors to the site than normal and allowing them to catch up is one of the reasons I haven’t posted anything new for the past few days. Another reason is that I haven’t felt up to it as my doctor has finally persuaded me, after six months of dire warnings as to the consequences if I don’t,  to start medication for my psychotic tendencies. Hence the fuzzy head and the weird disorientation I’m feeling (the leaflet states possible side effects as nausea, dizzyness, vomiting, diarrhoea , renal failure, liver failure and heart attack – and this is meant to make me feel better?). I am also trying to prepare for my court appearance on Friday in my very own version of the Leveson inquiry in which I not only have to give evidence for most of the day but have to pay for the privilege as well.

So normal service (well as normal as it gets round here) will be resumed after you have celebrated your queen’s Jubilee. Me, I’m heading for Paris Friday evening in order to avoid it. Vive la Republique! Or as Karen O put it: “Off with their heads.”
